Researchers have constructed a brand new form of two-faced (bifacial) panel. They used single-walled carbon nanotubes as each back and front electrodes.

These tubes are simply 2.2 nanometers throughout. That’s barely thinner than a strand of human DNA. A bit of paper is thicker than 45,000 nanotubes stacked on prime of one another.

The research is published within the journal Nature Communications, and the group included Surrey scientists working with colleagues on the College of Cambridge, the Chinese language Academy of Sciences, Xidian College, and Zhengzhou College, China.
