An early forecast of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season predicts a particularly lively season. The predictions, launched Thursday by the Colorado State College hurricane forecasting crew, embody 23 named storms, 11 hurricanes, and 5 main (Class 3 or stronger) hurricanes — all of these are nicely above common during the last three many years.
