A couple of weeks in the past, I printed an article about what I thought, at the time, had to be a world record for most miles on a Chevy Bolt. A reader promptly wrote in and stated, pshah! This one beats that report by 70K miles!
Test this out, from reader Dennis V:
I bought a 2018 Chevy Bolt EV new in March of 2018, to exchange a wrecked 2004 Alero with 390k miles. Purpose is to make use of it for 300k, since that’s after I will likely be finished commuting to [my job]. Drive 160 miles a day roundtrip to work, averaging 40k miles a yr.
Battery was changed beneath security recall at 150k, no issues with unique battery. Present battery is exhibiting 61kwh capability. Little or no upkeep has been wanted. Brakes have been finished twice. Work has a 30amp stage 2 charger, so I often will cost 7-8 hours at work, and might make it residence and again. I don’t roadtrip with the automobile, and have solely used a quick charger as soon as.
That is my first EV, was a little bit of of venture after I purchased it, however has a been an important automobile.
Anybody else have a Bolt with greater than 240K miles on it? Send it along!
